I’m very unfashionable. I’m on what I think is my fourth odyssey, purchased when my youngest 2 were 17. None of my kids could understand why. It’s $10,000 cheaper than an SUV, has more cargo and interior space, nicer to drive, better gas mileage. My kids borrow it all of the time for moving, or going out with a group.
I bought my daughter that weekender bag for Christmas last year (her request). She says it’s horrible, awkward to carry.
Socks.
I’d say it’s one of my most used kitchen appliances. I do weekly meal prep and it does my steel cut oats in 5 min and my quinoa in 1 min (not really as it requires time to come to pressure and release, but I don’t have to babysit it). I probably do dinner 2-3 times a week in it. BUT, Instantpot is a brand name and that I don’t buy into. I’ve had electric pressure cookers (I currently own two and often run them simultaneously for a meal and side) from all different manufacturers and there isn’t anything special about “Instantpot”.
Any status product, such as a high-dollar purse or car. I’m too utilitarian, I think. I’ve had the same purse for 10 years. A car is to just get from Point A to Point B. Oh, but last year I visited someone up north with seat warmers in their SUV. I would love seat warmers in my next vehicle.
What can be annoying is that the one option you want can only be gotten with other expensive options you do not want.
My oldest got me the smaller version and got my younger D the regular sized version. We both hate it. It’s so heavy even before you put anything in it, and the design makes it impossible to carry it comfortably with the shoulder strap.
Is that what it is - a pressure cooker, or is it a crock pot type of cooker? I have ptsd from my mom cooking meals in an old school pressure cooker on the stove when I was little, and her telling me that we had to lift the tab to release the pressure or the whole thing would blow up. I’ve been scared of them ever since
Yes, pressure cooker, not slow cooker. I don’t have one, I’m also a little hesitant about the pressure.
Oh, Macys is not necessary for gym. Amazon, Nordstrom Rack, or Old Navy are good enough. Walmart should be good too (there is not one near me.) I am not looking for a new husband in a gym .
NEW Apple releases. How many camera lenses to I need on my phone?
Tesla.
I do not think I would own one in my lifetime.
I was skeptical about robot vacs until we got one. We have a dog and two cats. Robot sorta goes about its business. Doesn’t necessarily look like it’s doing anything. Then you empty it and there’s like a whole other pet in there. As soon as we saw that we got another one for the other floor.
Just as well, since they’re closing another 66 stores, including 2 former flagships.
Any of those obnoxious gigantic overpriced water bottles.
Shoes with red soles (and any shoe in that price range).
Any handbag or watch over $1000
I would set top limit at $200 for usability
