National Honor Society

first of all I just got my report card and im not feeling the best about it. My sophomore year has been very stressful I got a very hard honors chem teacher I had tried everything to improve my grade in that class I ended up getting a C in his class. the same went for my Spanish teacher. Now I got my report card my GPA is now a 3.45. My freshman year was a 3.68 (its all cumulative and weighted, we dont rank or have weighted GPA’s in my county) and now it dropped plus on top of that im in national honor society im very worried im about to be dismissed. However I looked on the official bylaws and it states "If a member’s cumulative grade point average (GPA) falls below the standard in effect when he/she was selected (3.5), he/she will be given a written warning and the period of one semester to bring their cumulative GPA back to a 3.5. If the cumulative GPA remains below standard at the end of the semester the student will be dismissed ". I haven’t gotten a letter about it and im wondering if ill will receive it and I wont be dismissed then. I just want reassurance because I have had a very stressful school year

Getting Cs in two classes is a lot more problematic than being kicked out of National Honor Society.
