216 here, qualified in Kentucky
Made it with a 222 in California. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
GC emailed me back! No results yet (Iām not seeing anything from people in the west so not surprised) but she says sheāll contact me as soon as she hears anything. This email is more contact than I got from the previous GC in ten years. Glory hallelujah.
Im not sure if this is the right place or not but can someone tell me how to find my score index based on the released PSAT on Khan. Im going to take the PSAT this year and I want to see if im even close to NMSF. Thanks guys
SI = [(EBRW * 2) + Math]/10
222 in CA made it. Anyone from CA made it or didnāt make it with 221?
My daughter has a 221 in California . . . no word, but not surprising since she attends a large public high school. Good luck to you @websensation
@candjsdad Are you saying your D in Virginia got a letter saying she qualified as a NMSF with an SI 217? (See post 5914.)
Thanks @sqsctx ! That means my son made it. We were pretty sure, but nice to hear from someone in CA. Hoping for other people that it will come down to 221 or 220!
Thatās what I thought when I first read it and got very excited ⦠but I think he was just giving an example.
@PicoLA Same to you. Would really s*ck missing by one point. Lol
Congrats to your son @ynotgo! And to all the others who are NMSF!
Congratulations @sqsctx! Can I ask how you found-out about your score of 222 qualifying in California? Are you homeschooled? Have you heard from others with scores either making or not making it? Thanks!
Good thing not many good schools in CA offer NMF scholarships, or I would be upset at missing the cutoff.
@VABogart Just an example.
@websensation But we donāt know the cutoff yet, right?
@PicoLA My guidance counselor let me know after class. I doubt the cutoff is actually 222, but Iāll ask some other students at my school and get back to you.
@Ynotgo Congratulations!
222 could very well be the cutoff for CA, but let us know so we donāt have to check here anymore. No big deal not making it, whether by 10 points or 1 point.
With the California info in, our son made it too. We donāt expect to take advantage of any of the NMF scholarships available, but hopefully it provides an admissions boost and increases the chance of getting a UC Regents scholarship.
With the NC post, DD made it. She really liked OU, so that definitely helps. Guess I need to learn to say Boomer Sooner.
