VA geography not my thing but unless @SMcOsk attends school in DC he/she should be NMSF with a 221. Both MD and VA are 221. Somebody somewhere made a boo-boo. Poster should call NMSC tomorrow ASAP and have them confirm the selection index and where poster attends school.
Edit/update to clarify: where you attended school last year when you took the PSAT 
And whether you met the requirements such as you are currently a senior in your 4th year of school, you are a US citizen or in process of becoming such, etc.
One more thing to verify with @SMcOsk is that he/she is a US citizen or on a path to citizenship by college.
There could also have been a bubbling mistake on the PSAT paperwork that currently has them as not eligible for NM consideration. A call to NMSC should clarify what issues if any exist.

Thank you for all the insight. I do believe I bubbled it all correctly. I am a US citizen and I took the test in VA. I have been at the same school for the past 4 years.

@SMcOsk In addition to calling tomorrow, I recommend you find your PSAT score report tonight. Go online to your college board account (click the PSAT tab after you log in, click PSAT under âMY organizerâ, scroll down to your PSAT scores, click them, then click âDownload Reportâ in the right hand corner of the screen. It will open a PDF of your PSAT scores. Go to page 3 and see if your Eligibility Information is there - it should say high School student Yes, Year to complete High School = 2017, Years to be spent in grades 9-12 = 4 and US Citizenship = Yes (if you are not a citizen, I think you can still qualify, but not sure).

Iâm running out of ideas, too @SMcOsk. One thing you can try is click the âDownload Reportâ button in the upper-right of the PSAT score page. Make sure the School Name on the top of the report is correct. The Access Code on the same page may be handy when talking to them. It might be handy to print out pages 1-3 of the report for when you talk to them tomorrow.
