YES–often I wasn’t sure if his responses started with “Who”, “What”, etc.
It was interesting that he won a lot of money but got none of the 4 Final jeopardy clues correct. I got the Nevada/Oregon one immediately (never even thought of Kansas) but I guess occasionally it helps to live in the west.
I didn’t mind Jake. Thought he was quirky, and his job is ‘delivery dispatcher’ so I guess he worked for Amazon or someplace like that. He’s young. Go ahead and fist pump.

I don’t think he’s even in the top 10 of ‘most annoying.’
Sometimes I don’t like the champs but then he/she grows on me. I thought Mattea was weird but grew to like her.
An older friend and I were talking and she and her daughter, with two sons (friend’s grandsons) on the spectrum thought Jake was on it too. His quirks and habits could be his compensations to nerves, lights, sounds.
Oh well, good luck to new champ.

I would not be surprised if Jake is on the spectrum and think it stinks that the media is focusing on his mannerisms.
I, too, thought of Oregon and Nevada (and didn’t think of Kansas).

Even if he’s not on the spectrum, if his faces and mannerisms helps him cope with the pressure, I say go for The Win.

This has been an interesting week on Jeopardy. Final Jeopardy tonight seemed so easy. Very surprised only one person got it right.

Next week is Ken’s final week of hosting this season. Mayim returns the following week. First up: The Jeopardy! High School Reunion Tournament airs from Feb. 20 through March 9.
I must admit that I was a proponent of Mayim at the start (during the early “tryout” time) and felt that Ken was a bit stiff BUT Ken has really grown into the job and IMO is doing a fantastic job. I will be sorry when he leaves for a period of time and suspect others feel the same way. Hopefully Mayim will do a good job (I could pass on the HS Reunion tournament idea but that isn’t her doing).
I would not be shocked if eventually (in the next season or so) Ken gets all of the regular episodes and the Tournament of Champions and Mayim ends up with some other tournaments and prime time specials.
