WOW—just turned on Jeopardy with Mayim Bialik instead of Ken. The game seems SLOW–she just doesn’t have the rhythm/cadence that Ken has, and seems low-energy.
It’s obvious to me that Ken has just gotten so much better at it.

Mayim seems okay but I just wish they would have her just for these tournaments and have them on another time. I like Ken and would prefer to have him and the regular shows each night to look forward to. There must be some reason the Jeopardy producers are doing this, maybe related to Ken and Mayim’s schedules/availability?

I never cared for the tournaments even with Alex. Except the Tournament of Champions.
Right. First thing husband said- ah, he was dead by then! I did get Tennessee Williams and was surprised only one of them got it.

Based on tonight’s episode, it was taped even more recently, since one of the clues references a mid-January death.
I’m not particularly enjoying this high school reunion tournament . Just okay. Please bring back Ken and the regular shows ASAP!
I was not a loyal Jeopardy watcher at all during the Alex years. I got back into it during the end of his run and continued on through the search for a new host. I’ve been watching pretty regularly ever since and look forward to it, but I may start not making it a point to try to watch every night if the producers keep this kind of stuff up.

For some reason our local channel played the same episode on Monday and Tuesday. I didn’t think it was very hard on MOnday and didn’t stick around to watch it again yesterday.
I find most of the tournaments a little one sided so don’t really enjoy them.
Agree that this is a tournament I would prefer to live without - especially when it replaces regular shows.
Also seems that Mayim is a beat slow sometimes saying if a response is correct or incorrect. She is fine for these lesser tournaments and prime time specials but I have come to prefer Ken who IMO has really grown into the hosting job.

I think her hesitations are for dramatic effect but they are annoying.
The person in 2nd place tonight did not seem like a gracious loser, ha. I can see why they were upset, but still!

I’m another really not enjoying this tournament. I don’t see the point of it - in general Jeopardy is adding too many tournaments. I’m not sure if it’s because they want to Mayim to just do those and have some normal time slots, but three weeks of this is painful.
