On another topic, not that it impacted the end result, they were incorrect in ruling “Chang and Eng” incorrect.

Hmmm, I guess I could see arguments either way, but the clue was
“Eng was half of the conjoined twosome who in the 19th century were billed as this pair”
and they were looking for Siamese twins.
Oh, I understand what they were looking for, and Siamese Twins was my answer. But as the promo poster above shows, they were billed as Chang and Eng as well. So at best, it was a badly worded clue.

I generally think Ken does a great job, but he annoyed me today. Twice there were questions with references to newer music/musical artists which Patti answered correctly (she is clearly a woman of a certain age) and the way he commented about her “being a fan” seemed kind of patronizing to me. I don’t think he would have commented like that to a younger contestant. Just rubbed me the wrong way.
he’s made that comment to others when they got several questions correct in a musical category. Not sure why it’s offensive. There’s many musical genres, and unless one is a music teacher/critic, its woudl not be surprising if one was a fan if they could run the table of jazz or country western or opera or…

It was the way he said it. As if of course an older person would not know that music.
That’s my opinion.
Looks like Buzzy will be doing some hosting for minor tournaments to relieve Ken a bit. The episodes will be audio only and streamed. I liked Buzzy during the “tryout” period (for full disclosure I also liked Mayim - she just didn’t seem to progress over time - perhaps because she had numerous other projects in addition to hosting Jeopardy).
Hope he does well.

Did not like Buzzy as a contestant but liked him when he did the TOC during the year-of-the-substitute-hosts. He could handle the speed of the TOC easily, while others (ahem Mayim) would have been steamrolled.

Agreed, and like Ken, Buzzy looks like he has fun hosting.

Assuming he does a good job I wonder if they may give some of the prime time specials (ex. Celebrity Jeopardy) to Buzzy. Time will tell.

Oh my gosh. I never knew about that. Arrogant doesn’t even begin to cover it. He got a direct invite to TOC. Hope he feels a bit embarrassed. I commend Jeopardy for taking the high road.
I might take a pass on his episode. He was way too obnoxious both during and after his appearance. I get that the show took the high ground in inviting him back, but I don’t need to watch.

Be honest, how many of you were pulling for Yogesh’s competitors the other night? I noticed as they went to commercial before DJ, his left hand was uncontrollably tapping against the podium—I imagine he couldn’t understand how he wasn’t already in first place…
What bugs me about him is that he shows no joy in playing the game, just smugness in vanquishing his (in his mind) unworthy opponents
