New Jeopardy host preference? / Jeopardy updates

Definitely! He must have gone to charm school.

I do think he is trying. But is easy to be gracious when you win…let’s see the reaction if he loses.

In his first TOC match, when he ended Single Jeopardy not in first, his hand was twitching uncontrollably as they went into commercial. Was visible at the edge of the podium. I think he’s trying very hard to suppress his superiority complex and appear less obnoxious. I agree 1000%, lets see how he reacts should he lose.

I didn’t not like Yogesh previously and I don’t see anything wrong with him. He must have really cleaned up his act.

Yogesh is working extremely hard to be somewhat “personable”. His jokes seemed forced.

Yogesh, in his earlier appearance, came across as a pompous, self-aggrandizing sore loser.

I love watching Troy, so calm and collected, with his hands in his lap under the desk controlling the buzzer. Meanwhile, Yogesh is over there frantically pounding the button on every clue. All three of them are really smart, though.
Crossing my fingers for Troy to win, or even Ben. Yogesh doesn’t deserve it after he trashed the show.

Ben has to be the luckiest Jeopardy player in history. Didn’t he win both his TOC finals matches from third place? That said, I’d be totally OK if he won it all. Or Troy. Anyone but the prince of darkness Yogesh.

Doesn’t it seem like Troy messed up the math when calculating his wager in Final Jeopardy? If he had bet $2 less, he would have beaten Ben, who wagered everything and got it right.

Troy was assuming Yogesh would bet all his money and Troy bet enough to beat Yogesh by $1. Just backfired because with Ben betting all he had, Troy ended up $2 short.

I had no clue what the FJ answer was. I tried to think of a Scottish American navy man. No luck. Then John Paul Jones popped into my head! Navy but not Scottish, but he was and i got it right!

I see, thanks for explaining that. I didn’t think he would mess up math!

Another tournament??

I know, I was surprised when Ken announced it.

Jeopardy Invitational Tournament? Who are they inviting?

Three players from Jeopardy! Masters—Andrew He, Amy Schneider, and Sam Buttrey - plus 24 players from season 36 and prior, including Chuck Forrest

Chuck ! Talk about a blast from the past,

I’m not crazy about yet another tournament, but I’ll watch my man Sam any day.

With all these tournaments, will there be enough plain-old-regular champions to have a TOC next fall???

I don’t think there have been any regular games this year at all, so I doubt there will be a TOC next year.
