Another Sunday Morning fan. :)

That 9 p.m. for Modern Family is Eastern time. It’s 8 p.m. Central.

Another Sunday Morning fan. :)

That 9 p.m. for Modern Family is Eastern time. It’s 8 p.m. Central.

The “one” is Dexter. After that “Survivor”.

Other than that, when the fall preview issue of Entertainment Weekly arrived I was happpy that my planned viewing did not involve taping (yes we are in the pre-dvr dark ages at our house) or online viewing.

Summer shows have been a mix of guilty/not so guilty pleasures: Big Brother (boring season), Jersey Shore (never a dull moment), Warehouse 13 (never thought I’d like Lila) and Degrassi (I used to watch Degrassi Junior High on PBS).

Yes, I watch a lot of TV.

Big Bang Theory, House, NCIS, Bones.

You will NEVER any of the so called “reality” shows on my TV. Of any type. When I come across them I can literally sense my IQ dropping. They are embarassing and I can’t wait for the fad to be over.

The Good Wife

I love Sunday Morning. And the Office and Nova on PBS. Still watching SNL. Diane Sawyer on the news.

I’ve been watching “Surviving the Cut” on Discovery. It is the ultimate reality survival show except that it is real life. It follows members of our nation’s armed forces as they try to complete unbelieveably demanding training in order to gain admittance into elite units…Army Rangers, Air Force Pararescue, Marine ReCon, etc.

Tonight’s episode airs at 10 p.m. (eastern time). It focuses on Navy EOD (explosive ordnance disposal). S1 is Navy EOD so it’s close to home for us.
I don’t think most of the civilian population has any idea what these guys go through to protect our nation.
The series is worth watching.

Other than that I like…in no particular order…
The Good Wife
Private Practice
Grey’s Anatomy
Glee
Amazing Race

Mad Men and Glee I actually watch twice if I have time. For Mad Men I read the blogs and recaps and then go back and see what I missed the first time. For Glee, I go back and watch the performances.

Guilty Pleasure - Sons of Anarchy and Biggest Loser.

And Mercy is done? Loved that show - darn.

Psych, Fringe, Bones, Community, Castle

Others I’ve watched and enjoyed I’m strangely not excited about. Maybe my tastes are changing as I age.

I thought Top Chef was my secret delight, then it won best reality show. I liked all the last 3 chefs, Kevin the most as a personality. Poor Ed, letting his assistant do the mundane dessert.

Good Wife–Julianne Margolis I’d watch in anything

We often don’t finish dinner until 9, so I have a hard time following weekly shows. I do pay attention to hows mentioned on this site, and then try to watch them.

I was huge fan of the old Nikita show, and wonder why they use the same name for this series.

This is what the DVR is set to record:

Glee
America’s Next Top Model
Project Runway
House
What Not to Wear/Say Yes to the Dress (depending on the season)
The Office
30 Rock

What is the new show being touted as the make-do replacement for those of us who still miss LOST? Ideas, anyone?

My favorite show is The Colbert Report which I record and watch the next day (along with The Daily Show) with the intent to be working out while watching.

Love Modern Family and have been a Big Bang Theory fan since the beginning.

Also a big fan of Mad Men and am trying to like Rubicon.

Enjoy The Amazing Race. My husband and I try to assess at what point in the show we would drop out had we been in the race (for me it is the bungee jumping). Although it wasn’t funny for the contestant, I did laugh heartily at the youtube clip circulating from the upcoming season regarding the watermelon challenge.

I’ve watched Top Chef and Project Runway since the beginning. I like Project Runway because you can observe the clothes and form an opinion. For Top Chef, I’m always frustrated that I can’t taste the food. I watch because my family enjoys it.

I really like The Good Wife and my guilty pleasure is Drop Dead Diva (yes I admit it). Not sure I will hang in this season for Desperate Housewives.

I’m planning to watch Glee this season. And I’m sure I’ll get hooked on something else new this season.

Glee
Modern Family
Desperate Housewives (not as good as it used to be)
Big Bang Theory
Rules of Engagement
(embarrassed to admit this, but…) Two and a Half Men

We TIVO Leno, especially to see “Headlines” and Jaywalking"

^Me too–I love Headlines & Jaywalking! I often have my first cup of coffee in the morning while watching Jay’s monologue via TIVO.

Modern Family
Mad Men
House
The Daily Show

Guilty pleasures: DWTS & Oprah’s last season :(

I’m looking forward to Boardwalk on HBO

DVR-worthy - Survivor and Amazing Race; Desperate Housewives, The Good Wife, Drop Dead Diva and Say Yes to the Dress - the NY one - not Atlanta. Jerseylicious is kind of fun.

I really enjoyed Damages on FX - now it’s going to be on a non-cable station that I don’t get. Sigh.

I think the commercials for Lonestar look intriguing - I could do a Dallas/Dynasty type of show.

Top Chef…great show and Padma is one of the most beautiful women in the world.

Master Chef…the female host on that show is also beautiful.

House. the Big Bang Theory. And the show Keri Russell is in…I can’t remember the title. My wife knows I love her and she is ok with it.

I am thinking of giving Glee a try…I don’t love it…but I figure I can multi-task while that show is on and if a song comes on that I like…I can pay attention. :)

Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The occasional Daily Show or Steve Corbert in reruns…and Seinfeld reruns…

And Entourage in the summer…but that show better pick it up…

I agree about Entourage.

I watch TV, like all of you. But I haven’t heard of some of these shows. What is “Community” about and when is it shown.

Also, what is a guilty pleasure? Something you are embarrassed about? Or ashamed of? H—, I have lots of those–Gossip Girl, Top Model and occasionally Real Housewives of … (although I have to admit I only watch them when my D’s are home. They watch them. But I have watched a few w/o them!)

Others, not previously mentioned ( I think), Rescue Me, anything (almost) HGTV and QVC. Maybe they should all have been listed as guilty pleasures. And I also didn’t identify a specific show for QVC.

project runway and criminal minds. I liked the liar show cant remember the name. Oprah 's last season. Modern family, medium. dont get HBO or showtime. not watching DWTS this year.

I believe the show you’re looking for is titled “The Event.”

It premiers Monday, Sept. 20 on NBC
