they do give out waivers, and its 16 dollars right?
Iâm pretty sure they wonât look at your application until everything is received. Even if you get in they wonât give you a scholarship/FA. It states: âYou may not qualify for the same amounts or types of funds if you did not apply on time. However, there are still alternatives available. For example, you will likely be eligible for some form of federal loan, and possibly federal grants and Federal Work-Study.â
If youâre confident youâll get in, defer your application and submit your CSS. You can always call and explain the situation tho.
Itâs $41. I paid $71 and was mad asf but itâs $41 vs $390,000
I paid 41 for 2 colleges
The base is $25 + $16 per colleges. I applied to 4 schools on CSS but only gave my application to two of them
I did ask them, they said theyâve currently run out of fee waivers. Although I did explain my financial details to them afterwards but havenât received any email from them yet.
I think they have looked at my application because a few weeks ago my Counsellor got an email from NYU asking to submit my final reports. She had submitted everything before however, so I think NYU has taken a decision. Whatever happens happens, if I change my decision to RD it will show that my only interest in NYU is because of the aid they would offer. Plus my CSS actually wont have anything much, the only extra info I have is Iâve got some sponsors who are gonna contribute llittle amount.
honestly, nyu aid is nasty anyways. their nyu promise is kinda a hoax, most people I have come across havenât been committed what the portal initially showed. so at this point even css is waste tbh
Is $65K affordable for your family? Gies is a great program, but a bit difficult to get tooâŠitâs about a 2.5 hour drive from OâHare or Midway airports in Chicago. There is a small airport in Champaign, for students who can make that work. This says the shuttle bus from OâHare to UIUC is coming back this fall, fingers crossed: Transportation | International Student and Scholar Services
Good luck with Stern.
does nyu have a specific pre set number they plan to admit from each country?
Thatâs why I am already expecting rejection so that I wont be delusional until march. Just the change in bursar office and me being able to see Fall 2024 under âdepositâ subsection got my hopes a little high. But it seems everyone can see that update in their bursar account.
50kish is comfortable for me ( I mean honestly its still a stretch ), that extra 15k is gonna be a much for sure. but how does it look for an investment banking career?
ya no thatâs nothing, everyone has that change
I heard that every accepted students recieved an IDOC request email whereas rejected students didnât. This might actually be a legit indicator
wait actually? I didnât receive one, I think I am doomed then. but on the other hand, I havenât heard anyone receiving one
No. But they want to be The international university
IDOC request email comes from CollegeBoard right? Do everyone not get it when they submit CSS?
Reddit - Dive into anything hereâs the link to the thread
Not true. A girl got a full ride and no IDOC was asked
Yup I saw it and it made total sense but at the same time only 1-5% applicants get ask for IDOC
ok now I am stressing, is there anyone of this thread who got an idoc? because I havenât found anyone with an idoc request so far. plus by when do they send it ?
