There are all kinds of rumors that Brady is talking to Belicik, encouraging him to come to LV (which is intriguing, because it would also tend to blow apart those who believe NE’s success was totally Brady, if that were true he wouldn’t be trying to get Belicik there).
Supposedly the Jets, the team I have the misfortune to have inherited as my team, were highly interested in him. Honestly, while i liked vrabel, I don’t think he is the be all and end all.
Living with three 49ers fans and a Ravens fan, this lifelong Redskins/Commanders fan (I did take of leave of absence during Dan Snyder’s era) has been excited seeing the Commanders’ success this season, esp so soon after getting rid of Snyder!
Dan Campbell knew that. I guarantee he didn’t underestimate his opponent. He is a great coach, and Lions fans got to experience a season unlike any all but the oldest among us has experienced. It didn’t turn out as we hoped, but it was an awesome ride.
I agree. Although Washington played impressively, I do feel bad for Lions fans. It seemed like this was their year to reach the Super Bowl, and in fact I was rooting for them.
I’ve been a Washington football fan since I went to my first game with my dad at RFK when I was seven. The Snyder era was so demoralizing, I was thrilled to just get rid of him. I was thrilled to see a winning season for the Commanders this year. Never in my dreams did I imagine them beating the Lions. I’m happy with my team, but I so wish it were against someone else. Detroit has an amazing team and fan base and I was really rooting for them to go all the way this year and win it all.
I still don’t know what to do with myself today,
I just can’t believe it.
As a Cowboys fans, it’s difficult to root for Washington, but I liked Dan Quinn when he was with the Cowboys and a Longhorn is on the team, although he got hurt yesterday. They’ve been so bad for so long that I am happy for them.
I’ve always liked the Lions so I’m bummed that they lost.
Now, I REALLY want the Rams to beat the Eagles.
I don’t feel strongly about the late game, although I lean Bills because so many of my friends are Bills fans and I’ve won a lot of free meals betting against them when they played my Cowboys. However, one of my cc friend’s dh works for the Ravens so that would be nice for her, but he’s already got a Super Bowl ring so I won’t feel bad for him if they lose.
