still have some hope, but not much. it helps that kepakemapa said the trip to their school isn’t until mid October, because that actually means they will be giving them out later.

I won!! I’m from North Carolina. They came with a macbook air and cupcakes for my whole class. They said there are only about 40 winners this year. My parents were notified on Friday and kept it a secret until today! Good luck to all still waiting!

What I heard this morning from my regional (mid west) Nordstrom awarding team is that the scholarship program expends to international (Canada and another area, Puerto Rico?) first time this year. In additional to 80 winners in USA, there are 20 winners abroad. So Nordstrom spends 1 million dollar this year for the scholarship. So I believe there are still 80 winners this year in the states. Be patient and good luck.

Great Job to the winners! Rumor has it awards have been made in Michigan, Kentucky and North Carolina. I wish we knew the date of final notification. I am trying to decide if I should hold off sending my college applications in to see if I won. But don’t want to get to close to the November 1 deadline.
It is plenty of time left before November deadline. There is no real advantages of sending application earlier, unless for a rolling admission schools.
