Nude Hosiery....finally making a comeback!

Those retro 60 stockings are hideous, but I’m surprisingly intrigued by these: <a href=“Gradient Ombre Tights in Black and Nude”>http://www.artisansocks.com/sexy-stockings-sexy-socks/ombre-tights-opaque-black-nude-1294.asp</a></p>

I’m freaked out by the model’s legs. Her thighs are smaller than her knees.

I think they’re kinda cool too, but probably wouldn’t wear them myself. I leave that to the younger crowd.

No really…it looked dated. It wasn’t my skirt or shoes. The only thing that might have saved it was 4 inch stilettos and I can’t wear them. When I wear the outfit with black tights its very put togrther updated look.

I’m telling you, try the nude fishnet. I wear hose maybe three times a year tops, but the nude fishnet really works to provide just that little bit of coverage without that middle-aged look.

I was curious what nude fishnet hose looked like, so i did a Google image search on “nude fishnet”. Big mistake…

@Pizzagirl‌ …I plan on doing that. They didn’t have them at Macy’s, just some other brand that had more of a tan not nude olor. I will check Nordstroms and Saxs this weekend before ordering online. I agree… I think that might do the trick, hope it doesn’t look strange wearing them in a corporate office…hope they look more like tights.

Google spanx diamond fishnet and choose nude (nordys).

Ooh…those are pretty.

Mine are true fishnets but you get the picture.

125 - lol!!! I read it to Mr while we were driving from the airport last night, and we both had a great laugh. Well, that really inspired him, and this morning he did some web research for me! I have a feeling that I might be getting a few fishnets for Christmas. IMO, if pattern is not really wild, patterned hose is perfectly fine for the office. I would not wear it to a super formal events, but for everyday use it should be fine, if the rest of the outfit is office-appropriate.

Oooh, they really are pretty, TempeMom.

I’ll have to check out the fishnets. I love skirts/dresses but my skin is fair so I always feel pale in bare legs. I wear tights in the fall/winter but would love more options without looking frumpy.

FallGirl, I too am very fair. I use L’Oreal Sublime Bronze luminous bronzer just on the bottom of my legs if I am wearing a skirt or dress. It gives you color instantly and will come off if you want in the shower with a washcloth.

^ thanks, GA2012. I’ll have to try that in the warmer weather.

My eyes are bad because I see no fishnets when I google it.

use the little zoomy box…and RIGHT!!! no one will see them unless their head is within two feet of your legs.

I see the fishnet with black color. I finally see the fishnet in nude color when I zoomed in 400%.

I bought the Donna Karan Fishnets yesterday at Nordstrom…$25. What I liked about them was the color is the exact color of my nude pumps. I loved the spanx diamond shaped one, also…and would have bought that, but the ones they had the diamond “seam” was just that much darker than my pumps…which isn’t the look I was going for. Having said that, I think they would look great with other outfits I just didn’t feel like spending that much money in one day on hosiery,…those were $32. However, spanx had some more incredible tights/hosiery that I’m going to have to go back and buy another time! I really feel like this fishnet is going to do the trick!

^ I will have to try those, conmama. Thanks.
