Agreed. @123jove

I just got the change!!!

@NYUgirl10 I didn’t the change either!

no change for me either @NYUgirl10 @Rahshe

guys i dont think the change means anything, i got it and i jsut think that the system will get updated one by one anyways… dont keep your hopes up now @rindala

@hunggngguyen did you get the table with 2016? I know it probably doesn’t mean anything, but it’s still something :/

i did not apply for financial aid. will i still get a change in my fa status?

last year my sister got a change in financial aid and she got in. But she always reminds me that a change doesnt mean anything. She also said that there’s also applicant who didnt get any change but got in.

@rindala yeapp, but i really dont want to keep my hopes up we should just chill out and write sups for other schoolss

We are almost there guys! Just one week left!

Hey guys. I just got confirmation from an admissions officer saying that decisions are on Dec 15th!

I’m applying to Michigan too and mine says 2016-University of Michigan-No financial aid data available. Is that the change?..

@NYUFan101 Yes, but, of course they would say that. No?

Also, one of the admissions officers told me the ED acceptance rate for Stern is 20%. darn :-/

Ok so my name is Andres, I applied ED 1 October 3rd, I finally got my FA change yesterday, it is listed as 2016 with no self service access and 2015 award access not available.

My stats weren’t that great

SAT- 1830
Rank- 50/514
AP Scores- English Language 5, American History 4, and World History 4.

Resume-

Debate captain of two years
Debater on national circuit for four years
Fellowship on political campaign
Technical theatre for two years
Key club community service for two years
Part time job consistently since junior year

For the supplements I wrote about being critical advocates and about my foreign descent, being an immigrant, etc. Got well reviewed

Good rec letters

But my concern is that I applied CAS for Neural Science but now my major selection reads GLS??

@brosero that may mean the admissions officers are thinking about putting you in GLS instead of CAS, but thats a big maybe, not a certainty.

@brosero it seems to be the trend that if it shows GLS, you probably got into NYU, but in the liberal studies program as opposed to CAS.

@ericajordan I am speaking to an NYU freshman, who says that because it’s a hyper specific change it probably means I got into the university, but idk?

@brosero that’s what I would imagine! i’m crossing my fingers for you :)

My FA status stays strong! It’s always been Award Access Available… Damn it
