@NTXDad i wonder why they would ever reject anyone out of financial need? Especially in ED. I mean all they have to do is accept the person but doesn’t meet full need, then if he or she can find a way to go then he or she will go.
If that person can’t attend, they’ll know that by Jan 8th. And they can still fill up that seat with ED2/RD applicants.
Anyone else have peers getting into top schools the past two days? I’m feeling the pressure and stress. Half of me wants Tuesday to just come already and the other half doesn’t, because I don’t think I will get in. Ack.
YES!! so many people around me are getting into harvard, upenn, cornell and im here just watching them and impatiently awaiting stern’s decision. but i feel you… hopefully tuesday is a good day

Actually, about 100 ED applicants were deferred last year. Which is a very small part of the pool, but just for the record they do defer students.

Whoa the memories…this was me last year, I got into Stern ED1. I know how stressful this can be and I’m cringing here thinking about how it felt to be in your shoes around this time lol. Anyways if you have any questions feel free to ask me!
