Hey guys,
I applied, and got an email for consideration to opportunity programs, such as HEOP and C-Step available to NY residents. I have to attend an information session/ interview, however, and also confirm financial eligibility.
Any past students that got accepted into the program can reflect on how they prepared for the interview and what it consists of ?
I am confused right now, and I am hoping to learn from other ED applicants, especially if you know someone that got this email in past years.

Can any past HEOP students who got accepted reflect on what was the experience in the information session? That would be greatly appreciated!
Two things
- For those who have the change in FA, do you still ll have anything listed under “FA to do” on the home page?
- Does anyone know if NYU looks at applications first come first serve, or if they batch them somehow? (For example, I know some colleges batch applicants by high school so they can compare them side by side.)

Trying to figure out timing of this (mythically prescient?) FA change is pretty much a stab in the dark without any idea of how or when NYU gets round to decisions on each applicant. You don’t know if your application got dealt with on 2 November or will only get looked at on 10 December…
if i chose no campus housing, i will not be able to view the changes people that did choose on campus housing right? do you all think the housing changes reflect admission decision?
Quick question~ is it too late to call admissions and put an alternate major. I am interested in applied psychology if I do not get into my first school choice. I have applied early decision 1. Hope u guys can help~ thanks in advance!
No idea whatsoever… the NYU admissions team seems to be very busy. My last email correspondence with them takes a WEEK to get my things sorted…

Hey everyone, I applied on the 25th of October to Cas, with an intended major in Psychology and or Sociology. I got my portal around the 30th. I logged on the NYU home portal last week, and now it’s showing me a bunch of information about housing and student-related links. I was wondering if any of yall have experienced the same, or maybe it’s just since I got my portal so early my just updated. Also, have any of yall heard about of applicants got their acceptance laters around the 1st December.

@natasha1313 I went to the NYU’s open house in October. One of the students on the panel said she got her acceptance letter 2 weeks earlier than when NYU said they were going to get back to her. She also said she applied ED1.
Can anyone post a screenshot if “housing change”? I am not sure if I have the change or not.
