Does anyone know that Nyu will review my applicatuon, even if financial aid is still awaiting on the albert? All documents are received without financial aid.
As I haven’t applied for the financial aid, It’s kinda confusing. Should I ignore it or not??
Cuz I’m so nervous to wait my decision just like you guys!

@shinybell NYU seems to have 2 years ago as latest stats on its site, says “For the Class of 2021, our overall admit rate was roughly 28% while early decision candidates were admitted at a rate of roughly 38%.”
But class of 2022 admit rate fell to 19% so I’m assuming ED admits were a lower % too. And who knows how many applicants there are this year… a few other colleges have reported record ED applications this year so NYU may well have had too 
After talking to many many admitted students, they seriously emphasize on the hollistic review. You will tend to find that the statistics of the admitted students to vary a lot (low test scores, high test scores, impressive EC, etc.). However, the statistics and acceptance rates for NYU differ by each school for sure… Also many admitted students said that test scores and GPA are very important, but there are no minimum required academic GPA and test scores to be admitted to NYU. I found this very interesting, but makes sense! I just really wished NYU provided more statistics with their admitted students each year! @amorwsq NYU sends ED1 decision letters via NYU Applicant Portal (Albert) on December 15 at about 4pm eastern time. NYU doesn’t send out decisions, if that’s what you are asking~
@shinybell i emailed my nyu email and it didn’t bounce back, however, when i tried to log into gmail it says the email doesn’t exist. i’ve heard people saying it doesn’t mean anything tho hopefully

When I saw the last year thread, majority of ppl had student tab. But I haven’t seen ppl here have student tab tho…!
@natasha1313 i hoped it indicated GOOD NEWS but since i got those phat messages saying it didnt exist i got a little bit of anxiety lol but i hope we get in!!!
@shinybell well probably not exactly good news, just hoping it doesn’t indicate anything! I tried logging in this morning when going into an exam and when it says ‘google account didn’t exist’ legit killed my mood during exam lol

I’m applying for Tisch film and television production
97.85 W GPA and am ranked in the top 28% of my class.
Ive only taken honors or college classes since my freshman year.
For my Film stuff:
Won the best underclassmen director award, best editing award, best acting award, placed 6th one year and 7th another at the NJ 10 day film challenge, which is out of 200 short films
My film qualified and placed top 20 for the national level of the 10 day film challenge and was nominated nationally for best editing last year.
I also placed first and won best commercial for a distracted driving film contest.
I am the creator of 1 Minute Talk Show, a TV web series on instagram with over 400,000 followers
I represented my school in Skills USA television production contest
I’ve also worked multiple times as a camera-man voluntarily for my local public access educational channel.
For my ECs
Cross County and track varsity athlete for 4 years
XC captain for 2 years.
I won the MVP award 2 years in a row for XC
I also gained the Scholar Athlete Award in track every year that I ran due to maintaining all A’s
Volunteered as a youth XC and track coach for my community’s youth sports team
Briefly participated in DECA to do various graphic design work for the club
Volunteered in a charity organization called “Honey’s Angels” which provides food for the less fortunate on Thanksgiving essentially
I earned a certificate of honors from my local community college due to my participation in earning dual credits and simultaneously taking class there during my HS time to earn credits (I should graduate with about 30 credits).
I was Student of the month frosh year (not an EC but threw it in w my honors)
I am a certified design specialist with adobe products, and certified in adobe premiere pro,

Was searching through the depts of NYU threads and found out the Tisch Film acceptance rate last year was 7%. Welp, now i’m even more anxious

It isn’t public but it was from former students who were told after they were accepted. Also I see what u mean. Has anyone reported being able to log in? Who? I just tried and couldn’t
