@larosa2 i couldn’t agree more. My I-20 already expired on May 20th, but we still get a space of 60 days to commit to a school and renew it. Thank god for that.

I definitely don’t mean to come off rude, I can understand the concern of many of you guys. I’ve seen this happen in other forums as well but it’s better if people don’t police a public forum. This forum is put here so we can discuss transferring to NYU for the fall 2020 and all aspects surrounding that. As long as the post is relevant to the subject matter/topic I don’t see an issue with people posting.
Keep in mind some people really enjoy looking into the “knit-picky” aspects of things and getting an opinion on how it looks for others/test their theories. Their voice should be heard too.
Everyone copes with the stress and anxiety of transfer admissions differently. If this forum and posts on it are detrimental to your mental health/well-being please take care of your self and take a break from the forum.
i don’t understand how it’s rolling admissions. I know of people who have received a decision who sent in their application the same day as me. I also don’t know how they could send out so many acceptances without reviewing all applications first. doesn’t make sense to me
Honestly same i dont get how it’s rolling… maybe they are using that as an excuse for falling behind on decisions?? I applied mid-march and i feel like i should have heard back already… trying not to stress too much about it tho! It’s just soo frustrating
@kingkenaz idk if you were referring to my post about admissions but i just want to clarify that i was just giving my advice to stay calm. We are all nervous and a lot of us are freaking ourselves out more by checking everything. I agree everyone deals with situations differently! I wasn’t telling people not to look at the portal, threads, & zoom member profile but i was just saying that i think thats making us all anxious… best of luck to all!! We got this

Hi everyone! I have been referring back to this thread for a while and I know some people have had their zoom status change from member to member student. Mine today changed from member to member affiliate. I was wondering if anyone knew what that means? Hopefully it doesnt signal a rejection :-((

Mine changed from member to member affiliate a few days ago as well. I feel like it is just random and probably doesn’t mean too much.
It definitely doesn’t mean rejection. Lots of people have been accepted with member-affiliate.
Mine got changed from member to member student. But I don’t really think we should rely on that so much.

When you go onto your application page click on nyu home button then go to the work tab and zoom is under there 
honestly i can’t take the waiting anymore … idk why they making us wait this long. i guess maybe that’s a good thing because they would have sent out rejections by now if they didn’t want us
