D took a gap year this past year due to Covid. College GPA is 3.4, high school 3.5. She did not submit standardized scores. I think for performance based programs as long as your GPA is decent that’s all that matters. It’s all about the portfolio I think and possibly essays, etc. I think her application, essays and creative sample are all very strong. It’s all dependent on what they’re looking for.

I’m an MCC applicant for Stnhdt as well and I haven’t heard anything. Someone said we may be the last wave?
Some MCC applicants were accepted last week. 
I wish there will be a decision for us next week!

I called NYU admissions earlier this week and they said my admissions decision would be posted by mid-may. I applied for GPH in CAS. Did anyone else receive this info or could it possibly reflect my individual decision? I know that they are sort of doing waves this year so I’m wondering what this means. idk

hmm, i wonder if that means we will receive the same decision. I’m so scared but I would think that they would not just tell us so early if we got rejected. I would think that they would just admit as many students as they can each week and leave the rejections for june. idkk
