If I got a C in Calc, but an A in all my other classes, do I still have a chance to get into Stern as an external transfer? My HS GPA was very good, college GPA was a 4.0, but I got one C in Calc so it brings it down to a 3.78. I also have really good EC’s and rec letters, and my essays were good. I heard that to be even competitive, you need a 4.0 GPA in college, so do I even have a chance now cause Stern as an external transfer is extremely hard.
I’m pretty sure they remove checklists based off of when you submitted your application. I submitted mine late-January, and mine has disappeared since early-April. So it makes sense that your checklist still hasn’t disappeared.

Don’t fret though. You’ll hear a decision anyways, and I really don’t think your checklist disappearing early has anything to really do with how strong of an applicant you are. Rather, it’s simply that you submitted your application earlier, thus the office reviews it earlier and the checklist disappears. You still got this, so don’t think about the negatives. No need in worrying you won’t get in when you could most definitely get in.
I submitted mine around March 27th or 28th, so pretty late as well, but my checklist disappeared a couple weeks later but other than that there’s been no changes for me

Again i am not sure if this how it works im just assuming lol, but lets hope its all good. Don’t worry about it try to finish the class successfully everything will be fine!
I never got a midterm report. My university ends this week and I’m going to have all A’s in all my other classes and then one C in Calc. Also, do they round down GPA’s then even if the calculated GPA is 3.78, cause you said I would have a 3.7? Also, should I upload an unofficial transcript of my spring semester to my portal, cause won’t this help cause now they can have a full-year’s course schedule to base off my application.

Oh sorry I meant 3.78 and sorry never mind I forgot we didn’t submit mid-term reports. I keep getting confused between different apps. I am so sorry. But i think u should be fine like u if u want to submit it now or later im not sure to be honest.

OH okay that makes sense. I’m pretty sure some people got mid-term reports, but I didn’t so idk what that means. Anyways, thanks for the info and advice

I have a question for stern transfers. Did everyone complete all their pre requisite courses? And if we are missing one but have all A’s in the other ones would that make it any better?
I submitted my app back in November with no decision still soooooo lol
