Yes, same here. I’m accepting Columbia GS’s decision today because I know NYU does not offer institutional scholarships to transfer students. I’ll get federal grants (PELL, SEOG, etc), but that’s it. So, that doesn’t do me any good. I just didn’t want to accept Columbia’s offer before seeing —with my own eyes!—— NYU’s rejection or acceptance (and FA pac). This is absurd.

at least you got your results from Columbia GS. Columbia is being slow as hell with Columbia College, theyre gonna take as long as NYU which really sucks

The only thing I might have done differently is that I now see how important the early decision submission is. My Columbia application was early decision (not the first group, the second one, March 1 deadline), so I did hear back fairly soon, in time to weigh all my other options. Had I been rejected, I’d know by now. My NYU application was April 1, the latest, so I guess I’ll hear back … well, also “latest.” I think that’s an important point to factor in when thinking of applications, so to all future candidates, heads up!

It’s amazing to me (more annoying than amazing) how few of the people on this board have had a decision each week. The vast majority of you are still waiting. I had really hoped the big wave would be today but apparently not. Here’s hoping all of you start seeing portal/Albert signs over the weekend with a decision Monday!! Be sure to post here if you see some of the telltale changes! (FA/COA/Transfer credits showing up).
Go out and do something fun this weekend and try to put it out of your mind if you can guys!!!
