yeah I got an email from nyu on the 10th saying im missing important credentials from the app, but then i contacted them and said they received it so im guessing theyre reviewing it now
Hello everyone, I just found this forum and think its a great idea to start for those like me who are looking to transfer to NYU. I am an external transfer applicant who is applying for Tisch Drama. I called about 5 days ago to the admissions representatives at NYU (highest available admissions rep at that time and day) and they told me that the wait may be as long as by the end of the month. NYU has received their most applications in its history this year (exceeding over 100,000 - similar to the amount UCLA gets). Hang in there… The home stretch is almost here. 100000? Oh wow this is not good
I think you meant to say 10,000 applications, not 100,000 applications. That’s impossible for there to be that many more applicants if in the past, there have only been about 8,000-10,000 applications. Also, not that many people do transfer, so it’s impossible for there to be 100,000 “transfer” applications.
EDIT: I just looked at it, 100,000 is for first-year applicants, and that’s for this year because more people applied because of COVID-19, and this number does not play any influence in our transfer applications, so there’s no need to worry about it.

for a monday wave i know changes normally happen over the weekend
but there’s also been decisions released on fridays and i’m not sure when changes for friday release happens

is that what they send the advisor in charge of ur letter of rec

I’m also waiting on Cornell still and idk what to expect but I would also do anything to go to NYU

What do you mean by challenging it? Lol, I was originally going to apply for aid but then I learned that they give no aid to transfers so… idk
