Same boat. haven’t heard anything, just be patient and hopefully we will be rewarded
My portal hasn’t changed either, I think we should get a reply by next week tho.
Don’t be shocked. Their acceptance rate is so low it’s ridiculous
Gallatin Rej
International student
GPA: 3.87
2 LORs
Activities: Psychology research, MUN, special olympics, freelance photographer, video making.
Essays: Personally I’m very satisfied with them, actually my fav among all the essays I wrote. I combined all my interests and things I’ve done into one specific area, which fits Gallatin’s educational goal, so I always thought there should be a high possibility of me being admitted.
NYU has always been my dream school and I dreamed about living in NYC so eagerly, but since I was accepted by another T30 school I won’t consider applying again. Kinda feel relieved cuz I can finally be sure about which school to attend and make my enrollment. Good luck to those who are still waiting to hear back!
do u wanna be added to a insta chat
Sure
u can message me ur insta
What do you think their at? I think transfers overall are around 25%, could be wrong though and this year might tank that
I currently go to Baruch college, if anyone is going there let me know!
Apparently this year they only accepted 13% of the freshman applications
Did anyone actually get accepted today? I’m just catching up-
And if my portal didn’t update I’m assuming it’s a rejection correct?
Yeah mostly just rejections and waitlist
I was talking specifically about stern. Their external transfer acceptance rate is 2% or under. Internal is 10%. Regular admission is about 9%
well they are definitely going down in percent a lot probably due to the test waivers
CAS Journalism rising junior rejected
3.74 gpa coming from private institution
12 extracurriculars including high profile internships
2 academic LOR
2 Personal LOR
1 Professional LOR
NYU should have rejected people sooner so that people like myself didn’t bank on it and miss other deadlines. Ridiculous, but congratulations to those who made it in
WOW. that about the rate for some of the ivy transfers
Yes stern specifically is said to be as selective as some ivys
So assuming if no update it’s going to be a rejection
yeah, it is a incredibly well know undergrad b school
I highly suggest anyone with a gap in their education path apply to Columbia. They have a great program for non traditional students
