[/ul]General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Very happy to be in. Will visit again in April before final decision. Had a very nice interview with admissions counselor when we visited in Oct.

Alright, I was gonna do the copy and paste states but I can’t remember my 2 IB scores and the rest I’m taking in a month, AP I got a 4 in history which isn’t at all nice compared to ya’ll. I can’t remember my SATsubjects, they were in the 550-650 range. My regular ones were pretty nice, nicest in my school (which has below average sats) at 710math and 700reading but writing sucked at 580.
I’m top 10% but barely with a 93ish GPA

Really, my stats aren’t as stellar as some who were rejected. BUT I’m a head techie/stage manager/vice president in theatre, I visited during COD weekend and had a good interview, I’m pres. of the small engineering club at school, very involved in school and I like volunteering, I really like the arts and plays and drawing, I built a robot and won a competition with it this past summer, I’m awesome at pool, I was born with an extra toe, I’m an “URM” with being female and hispanic going into mechanical engineering, I speak decent slang spanish, I’m from TX, first in family to go to college or even graduate high school. I WROTE MY FREAKIN’ COMMONAPP ESSAY ABOUT HAVING AN EXTRA TOE. Yeah, sorta surprised and yet happy as a monkey on crack to say:
