<p>Okay, so on my view credentials thing on wolverine access it says that I have been notified of 7th semester grades. Does that mean I got deferred.</p>
<p>The ones that screwed it up for us are the Ivy League bound students using UM as their fall back. They are extraordinary students who naturally got in, but also got accepted to Ivy league schools. So they unfortunately take our place for now until they decline the offer. It sucks for those of us who actually want to go to Michigan and its our #1, like me.</p>

<p>This is very peculiar. My school is very solid in terms of getting people into great schools. We have great connections to UMich. The people in my class who applied there are mostly qualified. So far, we all got deferred. I’m supposedly almost overqualified, and I got deferred. Even my friend, who has a 34 ACT, mostly A’s, strong athletic extracurriculars, and even has a legacy+a booster father, got deferred. It strikes me as peculiar. Does the school always defer this many people?</p>
<p>At my school last year there was a student with about your stats. He got in and talked to the admissions counselor later. She said they sometimes don’t get to people and they defer everyone they don’t get a chance to read.</p>
<p>If we were asked to send our 7th semester transcripts, does that mean we might be rejected?</p>

<p>What the hell happened with Michigan EA this year? Did they just defer everyone like last year? some girl from my school who isn’t even that smart got in, but then I heard people with 2300+'s got deferred… what??</p>

<p>if there is phrase “Thank you for your application to the University of Michigan. After an initial individualized and comprehensive review of your application, we find that we will need additional information in order to make a decision.” </p>

<p>I have nothing regarding 7th semester grades anywhere on my WA. I guess that’s good, but this whole system seems so wonky, who could even know?</p>

<p>That was the same with me. Apparently you have to make a account with the MU ID they gave you awhile back in an email when they said they received your stuff</p>
