@mid helper : congrats to your daughter. Was the notification via email?

Hey guys i got through michigan LSA but i also got through university of virginia and babson college. I am looking for a business course. I am so confused! Any suggestions?

if you get deferred, do you get a rejection/acceptance email when they finalize the list for admitted students? or do they just leave you hanging there with a deferral

^^waitlist…then u r released when the class is full…

georgeyankees12 - speaking from experience, here is how the process goes:

Once you get deferred, you either get accepted anytime (February, March, April are the usual times) OR you get a Wolverine Access notification/email telling you that you didn’t make the initial cut but inviting you to join the waitlist. Those notifications usually go out around the end of April.

If you aren’t accepted off the waitlist, you’ll get an email around the end of June telling you that they weren’t able to accept you off the extended waitlist.

Don’t worry - it might feel like forever, but they won’t leave you hanging with just a deferral. They’ll let you know once you’re on the waitlist and whether you get accepted off of it or not.

has anyone received a decision after being deferred with this email?

Thank you for your freshman application to the University of Michigan. After an initial individualized and comprehensive review of your application, we have determined that we will need additional information in order to make a final decision. We will not re-evaluate your application file until after our regular decision deadline of February 1, 2012. We need this additional information and time to ensure that we give your application the best possible review. We will notify you of a final decision on your application by mid-April.

@SamarthChaudhry It depends on your major buddy. But usually it is Mich=Virginia>>Babson

Have you or anybody you know received an LSA scholarship (yet)? I’m personally still waiting on my F.A. package.
