rohan is so lucky.</p>
<p>I think there are six freshman at Rice from Consol this year. The college where I advised for O-Week had four.</p>

<p>kinda weird… i see only like 5 acceptance posts with stats on here and only 78 ( subtract all the upperclassmen and the random bots who joined) the Rice Class of 2013 groupe on FB…!</p>
<p>There are more than six from Consol…haha I loved ya’lls UIL meet in high school.</p>
<p>Guys, remember that this website is a small sampling of all the ED applicants. I know it’s easy to blame admission (or lack thereof) on residency, but Rice will NOT reject qualified Texan applicants just because they’re from Texas. It’s a super competitive state - you’ve got the huge, well-funded schools in Houston and Dallas suburbs (and a&m consolidated) and there ARE a limited number of spots. Not all hope is lost; give the school a break.</p>

<p>well like i was looking at previous ED threads and their were at least 14+ post with stats and it looks kind of low to me in comparison to ED last year .</p>
<p>Just because people didn’t post doesn’t mean there is a lower rate this year. Rice is expanding its class size so if anything there was a higher admission rate.</p>

<p>my dad called rice admissions today and the admissions lady said that significantly fewer than a hundred people were deferred.</p>
<p>i’m guessing that means 75, 80?</p>
<p>did they mention how many people applied? and how many accepted, rejected?</p>

The desk lady said it was between 0 and 50 each year.</p>
