Of course it is great! But 1 hour of it on both TVs simultaneously?
The winner is from a small town in Alaska, and it is the first medal of any kind for the US in this event in 40 years!

I only have NBC so what whatever is on is what I watch. I was just about to change TVs to the living room when she pulled away and I thought "I’ll just wait a few minutes. " However, 40 years ago cycling was really big in Denver with big races so I was into it and remember Connie Carpenter then. I happened to see the bio piece on Kristen being from Homer and starting cycling in central park NYC. I have a good friend from Homer (still has a home there) so I texted her and I bet she knows Kristian (it is such a small town they all know each other).
France has done a great job with the outside events ending at the Eiffel tower, crossing the bridges, and of course horsies at Versailles. Gorgeous.
I watched it for more than 2 hours and the end was worth it!
Kylia Nemour on the vault was amazing!!
Scottie Scheffler was openly weeping during the medal ceremony after an electrifying comeback win. Just wonderful.
She won the Gold on the Uneven bars not the Vault.
Swimming is on here.
My bad. She was amazing.
Hook 'em Longhorns are killing it in so many sports!
One Gator didnt make the finals, despite a fabulous performance previously, but another won gold and his coach was crying!
I went back to watch that. He had me crying, too. I love a good winner. And he was singing until he no longer could.
In an interview, Scottie said in most tournaments there is a little time afterward to decompress but here he went almost immediately to the medal ceremony. He said he’d also been at the gymnastic ceremony and as soon as the Star Spangled Banner started he broke down as it was just so emotional, and it wasn’t even his medal!
He’s had a wonderful year (Masters, new baby, Olympics) and a hard one (getting arrested for not obeying a cop). He deserves a little cry.
Noah Lyles is up. The final is loaded with the US sprinters!
I didn’t think Lyles did it, but the photo don’t lie.
Oh, I do like the US finals outfits. It was the heat stripey thing I didn’t like.
5/1000 of a second!!!
Incredible race and win for NL!!!
Sorry posted at the same time. The CC version of a photo finish😀
I don’t think it was even that much! A hair, a whisker.
I watched over and over- tht orange sneaker at the top of the screen looked like it went farther over, but a millisecond later
The Jamaican runner had a great start. But NL has caught up with him!
Have to say I love seeing the parents’ reaction and emotions.
Sneakers and feet do not matter. It is all about the torso.
