Thanks, fusiondogg. Looking at your stats I’m wondering what happened that you didn’t get in. Lucky for you, it seems you have some pretty solid choices to fall back on. I don’t really know, personally, but from what I’ve heard it seems that appeals don’t always go so well. But if UVA is your definite first choice above all the others, I’d go for it…that is, if UVA allows for appeals. If not, you may be able to find that one of the other schools you’ve been accepted to are your best bets. I was determined to get into Princeton last fall and told myself I would go nowhere else. I was deferred ED in December and the decision brought me down to earth. I was able to REALLY look at the other schools that I applied to and I found that UVA was the best school for me all along. But you know better than I do which school is right for you and if you know it’s UVA, you should fight for it.
