If i did not apply to foster with my application does that hold any thing against my admissions proccess?
@huskyheart31 Mine only showed one transcript. My UWT one loaded first, and it said I was a pre major with Tacoma in parentheses next to it, and also said I was a sophomore status for whatever reason. When I got into UWS, It changed to I think Arts and Sciences and said I was a junior in standing (I registered for summer classes, so now it looks different so I can’t double check again). I hope no news means a good news to me… I’m getting more anxious than before since my friends got in these two days. Really happy for those of you who got admitted! I hope to hear my decision soon?
Has anyone been rejected yet? Also, has anyone who applied to the Anthropology major heard back? I applied for fall quarter and haven’t heard anything…3.9 GPA from Seattle CC. Didn’t take standardized test.
@E5dn10 yes they already rejected some people. I think some results may come out today.

@dawgzzzz Not at all. Of course you will eventually have to apply to Foster if you want to major in business.
@sierraslm we’ve usually seen some posts by now on Fridays, so I’m going to guess not. Bummer.
Seems like a few people got accepted yesterday evening. Nothing today though?
Still waiting to hear back! I wonder if they’re going to take in more OOS transfers this time around because of the COVID situation. I’d suspect that more people than usual are declining their offers of admission because of the pandemic, so they might have to accept more applicants as a way to make up for that potential loss of money. That’s my little theory ?

For the person who asked, I received my financial aid letter at 2am today! I got accepted last Friday.
So is UW finished accepting applicants?
Is there anyone who major in psych didn’t heard back yet? I’m thinking the people didn’t heard back are actually in the invisible waitlist…
I don’t think they’re done accepting applicants because I haven’t heard of the mass rejection coming out yet. I think they’re in the waitlist portion of admissions, and they’ll hopefully send out another wave of acceptances this week. There are still hundreds of spots left to reserve for orientation, so I think there are many more students who will get in soon!
Psych, haven’t heard back. Looking through last year’s thread, it seems less likely that there’s some sort of invisible waitlist as much as a lack of regard for applicants.
The interesting part is that it seems like not much students being rejected Yet, most of students here had the offer instead. So I’m afraid they will send the rejection letter at the end of process?
I’m an in state student trying to transfer from wazzu where i got a 4.0. I have not heard anything yet… does this mean I was likely rejected?
Applied to general admission
Going by last year’s thread, people were being notified into the second week of July without a pandemic. We’ve still got a few weeks left in the window response anyway, so don’t count yourself out yet (butholyshitisitstressfulwaiting).
Hey @amaha12 that’s weird you haven’t heard back from WSU by now especially with that GPA holy cow! I had a couple of buddies who were accepted to Western but for some reason, the acceptance didn’t show up on their portal and they had to call to confirm. That might be the same thing going on with you, so it might not hurt to call them and ask if they are done admitting students or if you were accepted. Good luck! Also you might not get a lot of WSU related information here because this is a UW thread, but I’m sure there’s a similar one for WSU!
