Do you know when he applied and what his essay was about?
DD got into direct admit BSN yesterday through their Early admission pathway program. She got admitted to pre nursing on Dec 8.

Same! Congrats!! I thought this was too good to be true! So, the EAP now turns this into a true âdirect admitâ BSN program correct? All along I was kind of steering my daughter away from it because it wasnât direct admit and we were focusing on direct admit only programs. I know some programs you have to compete for classes and clinicals when its not a true direct admit program. Any thoughts from anyone who have kids who have done the EAP/Early Admissions BSN?

My older daughter was just admitted for another major, my younger daughter will apply next year for nursing. What do you think helped her get the direct entry? Thanks!
He applied in October, the Morrill essay question was on common app. He mainly talked about efforts to help local community, nothing related to race or identity.

Iâm confused about the direct admit pieceâŠwhen I look online, it looks like itâs a seperate application and you are notified this summer??? Can you please clarify? My daughter was also accepted to the EA pre-nursing program. Thank you!
Hi thereâŠThank you!! Below are the details from what I have read about the EAP/Early Admission Pathway:
With EAP, a separate application is not needed and students are advised in Feb per website. We got ours last night and a few others, but maybe more are being released. I am unsure of the process. Awesome - thank you for this information. I didnât even know it was a consideration. I feel like my daughter hasnât expressed as much interest as she should because she always thought direct admit wasnât even an option. I guess weâll see. Thanks again!!!

Yes, my OOS son received notification of National Buckeye and Provost scholarships in December, shortly after his admission. Last week he was accepted into Honors and this week offered $500 to attend Buckeye Bound.

My OOS daughter has heard nothing from OSU on scholarships - she just heard last week that she was accepted to the Honors College - nothing else, which is kind of a bummer (and a bit surprising)
We did send in an additional recommendation and her 7th semester transcript along with her CCP grades. The response email from them said no need to but we said it will not hurt as her GPA goes up and so does her class rank putting her in the top 5%
Did your daughter receive an email or find it in her portal?
