My understanding of SafeSchools (which we did have while I was there) is that its intent was to be used for anonymous reporting of misconduct by faculty, staff, etc., not students. I’m not aware of any times it was used by students against one another; when it came to those situations, all of the incidents I know of involved a student coming forward.
Needless to say, while I’m not invalidating this point (nor the idea that Lawrenceville had/has an internal culture of competition), I would put a dozen other factors ahead of this on the list.
