<p>Northern Woods - DS1 is a senior at NU and has lived in shorts, jeans and T-shirts and of course a heavy hoodie in Jan/Feb. I’m getting him a new suit because of grad school visitations.</p>
<p>DS2 starting this year at Carnegie Mellon may need a suit for internship/job interviews and he doesn’t mind dressing up for things.</p>

<p>Did any of you who live in SoCal get AP scores in the mail today? My S hasn’t gotten his yet even though several of his local friends got theirs either yesterday or the day before. Now he’s wondering if he somehow wrote down the wrong address.</p>

<p>No AP scores here yet, either, and I thought we were considered SoCal. Her friend in Orange County received hers so I expect them very soon.</p>
<p>The dress style is very laid back where D is attending but she insists on maintaining her fashionista persona. I’ll give her a couple of months before she turns to her old stand bys - jeans. She also loves her boots and will actually have to buy her very first pair of rain and snow boots as well as a real winter coat! </p>
<p>As for suits, I insisted that S take his this year and he actually wore it to his band’s formal.</p>
<p>My D’s AP score arrived today in Oregon however she is out tonight so we haven’t opened it. She did get home from Cuba - yay!</p>

<p>MizzBee - thank you for the reminder about thank you’s. We took off vacation the week after graduation and D hasn’t written them yet. She has to get them done before the going away party invites go out this week! </p>
<p>It’s also time for D and S to start going through their closets. I should’ve had S do it last summer. Now, he’s hardly home and I don’t want to be stuck with the job! As for D, she’s feeling like I’m pushing her out of her room ( lil sis is really the eager one) so I’m trying to be a little tactful. It will be strange to have 3 empty bedrooms in the fall.</p>
<p>Summer is going by so quickly! D called and got her AP scores, we went to registration last week, have picked her bedding and it is on the way. But so much to do still.
Need to go thru the closet, order fridge, get towels, dorm stuff… wish I could slow down time.</p>
