Congrats @latichever. And now you can breathe.

My D’s idea of what she wants in a college, and our idea of what would be the best fit for her has changed quit a bit over the last several months too. I really do not know, even if she got acceptances to all the schools she is applying to, which one she would actually end up choosing. She has 3 that she currently loves, and 3 others that are ‘also on the list’, lol. But one of those ‘also’ schools did impress us more than we originally thought it would when we visited, and we will visit another one in the next couple weeks. Both of those will be by far the best deal financially, and she does see the benefit of that $$$. I really wish they would all give answers earlier so they’d have more time to consider what their true options are and then decide!

We am headed to the pool deck with @latichever. DS admitted to his reachy reach ED school, Brown!! Shock followed by joy. We are thrilled. Sending lots of positive energy to rest of 2015 kids.

Congratulations @latichever and @erlanger! Wonderful news!

Amazing and fabulous, latichever and erlanger!!

Congratulations @erlanger and @latichever‌ ! Fabulous news!

Congrats latichever and Erlanger!!! DONE!!!

D applied to 12 schools but I am realizing that she could have knocked off at least 2 safeties that she would never attend and replaced them with Princeton- IF she got in to Princeton- IF- we would get some decent financial aid. That’s water under the bridge because she has little interest right now in Princeton ( she toyed with it for a little bit) and I had no idea that she had a few too many safety schools- 2 of which she won’t attend. The list of 12 is now knocked down to 8 ( no interest in 4). She has nice merit from one, and the remaining 7 will roll in between January and the end of March. I did promise her that when all acceptances are in, we will hash out the pros and cons of each and make a decision that works for everybody. I will not make this decision. January should be an interesting month- two EA schools come in that she loves, a few schools come in that she has since knocked off, and we will hear about a few big scholarships. :-SS
