@crowlady , yes I have a few sites, I was just wonder what others used, but I understand that CC might edit, now problem.
There are college review sites where you can get personal comments but I think you have to take them with a grain of salt and CC is probably better.
I know Niche is not very reliable, but it’s one of the few I found that had reviews on my college.
Yes, Niche was the one I was thinking of, @albert69 @ITBgirl . I think is best to look at many sources before drawing conclusions.
So it doesn’t get out of sync, here’s the latest list of decisions with ITBom’s entry at ECU:

Congratulations @HeliMom74 and @OHMomof2 and others I’m sure I missed in the last few days! Things are certainly heating up around here (or maybe I should say cooling off as the stress level lowers).
She may not know where she’s going yet, but my kiddo got a second job today - this is a performance job, singing in character for kids birthday parties. She’s already getting used to what it’s like to work as a musician! A gig here, a gig there, good money per hour, not very many hours!
@Irishmomof2 - you got it. That’s how my son lives. Musicians have to be entrepreneurial, and very flexible. He has played classical guitar, jazz and Johnny Cash - and sometimes all in the same weekend! I actually think the steadiest work (and $) comes from giving lessons. She will pick this up wherever she goes.
Love it @Irishmomof2 and @VMT!! My oldest is graduating as a theater major with a creative writing minor. Not traditionally marketable fields. But I always say that in the new economy, (almost) everybody has to be flexible, entrepreneurial, and adept at juggling multiple part-time jobs, and the artsy kids will have a head start on that skill set.
After a very long and crazy year, I’m back to say how excited I am that my middle D will be joining her big sis at UCSC in the fall.

I was settling in for another 10 days of back and forth, but just when I least expected it, the kiddo announced she had made her decision. Mine was won over by the research opportunities and historical charm of William & Mary.
Best wishes to the remaining Undecideds!

We have a decision!!! For confidentiality, I don’t think I want to disclose much more than that. I want to thank all of you for the support this past year. Some of you sent me messages as we were going through the ACT testing nightmare and I really appreciate your kindness. I haven’t decided if child #2 is going to be easier in this process or not. I’m thinking easier, but I really don’t want to jinx myself. I have a lot more gray hair now than I did at this time last year.
Congratulations on the decisions, @PetraElise, @HeliMom74, @VSGPeanut101, @jennie11, and anyone else I forgot to mention. It’s been a busy but exciting day here on this thread. And to those of you still waiting on a decision, rejoice in the fact that this can’t last much longer. The fruity drinks are tasting extra-fruity tonight, so come and get one (or more).
Congrats to all whose (nice) kids have decided and have told them! My daughter has decided but she’s making me wait until Friday.
@SlackerMomMD - we’re also playing the shell game here. S has shirts from most of the universities we visited and he keeps rotating them.
I thought I had his order of preference figured out but when I mentioned he didn’t have a shirt from one of the five remaining on his list he seemed very eager to order one (so he would have shirt for May 1st for school) when I thought that this was the university likely coming off the list!
He has an appointment with our private college counselor tonight (his request) and I asked to schedule a time on the weekend when he can sit down with me and H. I asked if he thought he would make a decision by this weekend and he said yes - so he must have a top choice in mind. I had asked him to put together a list of pros and cons to take to the counselor and to discuss with us. To help him, I looked up the cost data and asked him to add that. For some reason he drops it on H’s desk. H as been very aloof from the whole process so far - now the only data he has is the costs (there is a huge spread) - I don’t think the discussion is going to go very well as H now has several days to ruminate over this one data point.
Congrats to all those with kids who have landed - they all sound like wonderful opportunities!
Wow. The good news is coming in waves these days, and it’s great to see. I’m off to a slow start this morning and could use a little extra caffeine. Perhaps you could too, so we’ll get this day going with this gem from what may be the most underappreciated pop band of the Eighties.

I appreciated them, @SomeOldGuy!
Congratulations to so many of you who are finally getting decisions. Not much longer for those of you waiting - hang in there!
I made a post asking about things that should go on the parents’ to do list after the kid picks their college.
Check it out

Thanks @scholarme. I’m going to bookmark that one.
@SlackermomMD Loved your post. Your daughter’s answer reminds me of the people who find out the sex of their baby but keep it a secret until the baby is born.
No decision here. She has narrowed it down to 2, but when I asked her if I can get rid of the mailings from the other ones, she said no. . . .
