@Mysonsdad Don’t lose hope yet. We’re on the same boat, no box/letter or whatever. Having options is the reason S applied to a wide net of schools. I have said all along that if he gets into 1/2 of the schools he applied, I will call it a very successful college application season. Things will get better sooner than you think :">
@LKnomad - the Dermatologist sighted mood swings, anxiety, depression & suicide, along with birth defects. She said the more she learned from recent studies the more she felt she just couldn’t prescribe it for her patients. I didn’t push for more info b/c I was playing “ostrich”.
It really worked well for my son & thankfully, other than very dry skin, never suffered from anything else.

This journey is sure filled with ups & downs for all of our kiddos.
It is hard for our ‘parent heart’ not to hurt during those downs.

It’s a slender white box and comes via USPS Priority Mail.
@Mysonsdad it comes USPS as white flat letter size box with red folder inside. Folder has certificate of acceptance, welcome letter and something else I don’t remember now. One of the letters has scholarship information. As far as I understand, if letter does not have scholarship information, this is Dean’s 1/4 scholarship that does not require interview. The 1/2 and full scholarship requires interviews. Probably in a day or two they will send out letters to those who did not receive package that are still considered for admission, but not for merit scholarship. Financial Aid is a separate process.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know that I received the USC package today in the mail with an acceptance, along with notification that I was selected as a finalist for their full-tuition scholarship and an invitation to attend their overnight on-campus interviews for it. What a pleasant surprise to receive in the mail today.
Stupid question - in terms of ranking/prestige: Which is a "better"ranking according to US News a National University ranked between 100 - 125 or a Regional University ranked between 1 - 10?
