@texaspg, @arisamp and @krnBoston - I also have D12 and D16. However, D12 transferred once and changed her major twice. D16 will likely take 5 years due to co-ops. We tease both girls that we are starting a block pool to see who will graduate first. :))
Looks like we could start our own forum - Parents of the HS Class of 2012 and 2016. Not that Iām recommending that - keeping up here is tough enough.
I have a 2012 and 2016 too. Oh, and a 2023!
@PAO2008 DS16 dropped orchestra his Sr year to take another AP class . He regrets not choosing cello instead. I encourage him to go back to it if itās something that really interests him.
Iām also in the 2012 and 2016 club! S12 is getting his B.S. this year but is staying for a 5th year to complete a co-terminal Masterās. However, since itās graduate school, heās responsible for finding funding to pay for it so that we wonāt have to pay for two kids in school at once. That will be an especially good thing if D16 chooses her more expensive of her top two choices!
Hey @Dragonflygarden and @critter, maybe we should start a 2013/2016 club. I bet we could give these 2012/2016 folks a run for their money.
We already know the 2016/2019 group is strong!
Concur that the 2016/2019 group is very strong!!!
=D>
Iām in the 2016/ 2019 group too
Still waiting for the 2021 thread to start up. (-;
@eastgrad, Donāt forget me! I have a '13 and '19 as well!
As expected, one school she visited in the last two days is off the list. It was overall enriching experience, but not a good fit for her major. Maybe for grad school. So we are down to two.
Oh, youāre not on the sidelines, @ItsJustSchool. There you are, front and center (ETA: I think I see youā¦reading a novel or something).
@Skates76, I think thereās a lot of us in the 16/21 club too.
Wait, I have a 16/18/canāt count that high (current 4th grader). My spouse just informed me we will be paying for college for the next 12 years straight. We actually have a gap between 2&3, but he has some grand financial plan where those years we are socking it away for #3. I was thinking maybe we could have a vacation or something. Sigh.
Iām another in the 2013/2016 club!
Mine are S12, D16, and S21. 12 of 13 years in a row. There wouldnāt be two in at a time, but S12 switched majors and is at a big co-op school in Drexel, so it will be one year of crossover next year.
My 4th grader will be 2024 if that helps. The other two will hopefully be graduated and gainfully employed by then.
Anyone else in 16 and 18?
@mstomper Iām 16, 18 and 20
@mommdc The other two can help with tuition costs for the youngest if they are gainfully employed!!!
I have an only child, sure going to miss having her at home.
