Summaries
I had been thinking that we should all post summaries, including info about your child, to whatever level of detail you wanted. I had thought that it would make the most sense after our kid made their decision, but I guess after all decisions are in makes sense too.
So here’s mine for DD:
App / Stats
ACT: 35
SAT: 760(M)/740(V) (super-scored)
SAT 2: 760 math 2, 570 Japanese (a hobby essentially), 620 Bio (E) - taken with no studying, spur-of-the-moment, because she didn’t want to take history 
- not sent anywhere.
GPA: 3.4 UW, 3.7 W - though with a nice trend, and a story (dealing with ADHD)
ECs: Pretty much nothing - the closest thing to a highlight was starting a club at her school.
Essays and recs: My guess is a big plus, but who really knows.
Results, CS intended major
WashU: Accepted
Rose Hulman: Accepted EA with $11k merit
RPI: Accepted with $21.5k merit
Purdue: Accepted CS EA, no merit
Indiana U: Accepted EA (direct CS decision would be made later) - $10k merit IIRC
Case Western: Accepted EA, $23.5k merit
Olin: Rejected
Mudd: Rejected
Currently deciding between Rose vs WashU vs RPI… :-/
Summary: Admissions went about as well as we could have hoped. Olin and Mudd were correct to reject her.
