We’re all doing a bid ol’ happy dance today – turns out that D17 just made a triple play: she just found out that she was awarded a full-tuition Chancellor’s Scholarship at Vanderbilt!
@picklesarenice - She got an email from Grinnell today telling her to check the portal. This came on the heels of her being asked to upload a 100 word “Why Grinnell?” essay last week, and her responding to an email from a graduating senior that reached out to her.
@porcupine98 - Did you have a DC that went to Grinnell? We know an adult in academia that went there many moons about and loved his experience there, but have no more recent knowledge.

@LoveTheBard full scholarship to Vanderbilt is a nice score. I was able to visit there a long time ago and I really liked it there. Lots of good choices for your D, she can’t go wrong.
D got the same scholarship at Vanderbilt as @LoveTheBard 's D. ! She said that makes her decision that much harder 
She said she isn’t going to the special weekend for admitted students for Vandy because she has robotics regional. DH and I are like…"forget robotics! "
