Yeah, in their defense it said something like “the last letter we’ll send before decisions” on the outside, but even so, they’re not helping their cause by essentially teasing their RD applicants.

a brag about how their 2016 graduating class set a new record for highest starting salaries.
Once I got past the tease factor – I’ve gotta admit, the average starting salary for Stevens grads is impressive.

@STEM2017 Not sure the people on the CalPoly board know what they are talking about. I do think there is at least one more round.
They eliminated ED this year… So this might be just the equivalent of the ED round. What I’ve heard is you could still hear for weeks, and in the past these acceptances dribble in.
What department did he apply in? Any Engineering program is in a lot more demand and thus a LOT harder to get into than say English or even Physics or Chemistry.
@curiositycat333 I think you are right about dribbling out decisions. S applied for aerospace engineering which is very competitive. It’s a reach. A rejection would sting a bit but he has plenty of great options in hand already.

Daughter got a thin envelope from a university where she applied to a full ride scholarship. It came at the same time results were to be released. It was a reminder about the FAFSA.
She got an email entitled “check your portal” from another school that is likely to release scholarship finalists soon. It was a reminder that vital information will be sent through the portal.
I just checked acceptance dates from the last two years for her remaining applications and it looks like the last one will probably happen at the very end of March.
And so it goes. The good news is that by the end of the day, D will have completed her two largest senior projects and the workload is about to ease off. She will be SO happy!

Don’t lose hope @STEM2017 !!! It’s different this year than it’s ever been before with no ED round, no order of colleges, etc… People on the Cal Poly board are giving what they know, but they have no idea how this year will run. This Cal Poly process is brutal, D’s BF is waiting for computer science, he may have a stroke from the stress.
