123 days until graduation for our student!
Our S’s last day is 5/26, so I think he has 45 school days left (actually 44, because he’s doing an admitted students day in early March).
I am not counting the school days he has left.
March first is 100 days till graduation for us. I only know because the my friend is planning a 100 days left of school event for seniors and asked for cupcakes.
I was counting all days - in school, weekends, vacation, etc.
D received her NMF letter today in the mail at home.
I haven’t counted the days until graduation. I know it’s sometime in June.
Our school district has been steadily declining over the past few years, so I & DD will be so glad when she receives that HS diploma. She is our last one through, which will be sort of sad, but won’t shed any tears over it.
Popping in to say good luck to those getting news this week. I think some schools are releasing various merit notifications and ED2 announcements soon. :)>-

@AP2018 my post was intended to be funny. I will admit that I stress about things that are out of my control. It’s not a good quality…but I don’t pass along my stress to my DS - I just like to vent here. Thankfully, his personality is very laid back and he is not stressed about any of it. I do think it would be extremely helpful if schools informed students/parents by email on a given date for the sake of good communication.
S’18 received his NMF certificate at school today. Benaquisto is in play in FL.

Did the count…109 days …not sharing with D18 as she the bigger count for her right now is the 75 days until May 1st when she knows for sure this decision will be done.
Wish we did not have those 4 RDs to wait for in March would make it much easier to go forward. Really think that schools should notify by March 1st. 60 days is much more reasonable than 30 days to get all the pieces together and make a decision. We will continue to narrow our known field of 7 to 3 by March 15 and then play those three against any decisions between March 15-March 30th with our goal of a decision and financials figured by April 1st. That will be easy to achieve if the answers are no in March, other wise it looks like April 15th will be our decision date. Then she can enjoy the last six weeks of senior year.
Will work hard to make it EA all the way for D20.
