Congratulations. So you know when they typically invite for Noblitt? It doesn’t come with the admissions letter?

So excited for you! Big congrats. Now go celebrate!!

And it would be a great one at that!

I may have been waiting with more anticipation for your son’s Rose results than for D25’s ED results. So happy for you guys.

You are so kind! Crossing my fingers for your D25!

C25 just got acceptance letter to Ursinus College (EA), so 3 down, continuing to wait for 7.

Love seeing all of these decisions - acceptances!!! Still crickets over here. Except for the sound of me refreshing the email, portals, and anticipation levels 20 times per hour. So exciting!!

that’s me! Especially now that I know 2 of my kids EA school’s have already started sending results.. and 1 likely and 1 for sure this weekend

It’s nice to hear people getting good news. But no news over here either. I’m expecting a couple of decisions over the weekend. Most of the EA decisions are still a few weeks away though. Why couldn’t my child have chosen colleges with earlier decision dates?

I am burning through phone battery waaaay too fast every day. Today I briefly considered putting my phone out in my car to remove the temptation to refresh every 5 min :joy:. And I think about D25 and how much worse it has to be for her!

The intel my S25 found (maybe on Reddit?) suggested that the invite might come about a week after admission.

That’s great that it’s his top choice and he has that admit in hand! I think Rose is maybe #4 or so on my S25’s list right now, but I think a bigger scholarship would be very enticing if one were to be offered.

My D25 got her first acceptance and also to Santa Clara University! She applied as a Math major — super excited. While it’s not her first choice, her response was “I’m going to college!”. We’ll see what comes on Friday from her ED school, which is not my first choice, but alas it’s not my decision

So I am vaccinated for whooping cough and was boosted in 2019, and I got a case of it this August that I am still recovering from (yes, in mid-December). Apparently the vaccine used to be stronger, but the current version loses its efficacy by 42% every year and the booster basically wears off after 3 years. SO many people I know have gotten it in the past year. Doctors are reluctant to test for it, I had to really push to get tested. Basically I should be a PSA for everyone. Get your titers checked, get a pertussis PCR test, etc.

That’s awesome! We visited Ursinus in the spring, and were really impressed. It seemed like a great place, and was one of the front-runner on S25’s list.

How am I supposed to concentrate on work today when my son’s BF gets his Princeton REA decision today, and my son gets his ED decision tomorrow? :cold_sweat:

This makes me wonder if I had whooping cough last year. I was coughing for months and STILL have issues with wheezing at times.
