Yay! for all the decisions made!
This is the last week of school! My S26 is done Wednesday at 9am. It’s hard to believe. He has AP and IB tests still and probably will go in a few times for review in those classes. And he has to go in for band since they still rehearse and play at graduation. It’s weird, but it works I guess.
We need to start talking about dorm rooms. He’s going in blind for roommate, but still can pick his dorm and room in a few weeks. I’ve been adding dorm stuff to my Amazon and Target cart so once we can start sending things down, I can watch for the sales. He is planning to use S22’s bedding, but I think D24 is actually using the sheets, so I guess we need more sheets, lol. I’ll have to check with her. We use the plastic Target plates in the dorm and I need to make sure S22 still has his set to pass on. His roommate in his apartment had a full set of regular dishes, so they haven’t been used in a couple years. But I don’t want to buy more if I don’t have to.
He has done a great job of working on scholarships, but is really getting burned out on them. We’re at least to the point of being able to reuse a lot of material. He has only heard from a few and most were no, but he did win $1500 from a local one! And the rest of the local are given out at the award ceremony in May. Fingers crossed for a few more!
