Finally finished painting and framing the watercolors I made for my girls for Christmas. Got a good deal at Michael’s on the mats, they were in the discount aisle. The left one is really teal. Not blue/gray. Not sure I’m happy with the gaudy dots I painted on the frames, but I can paint over them if they don’t like them either.

I like the dots on the frame, a lot. And I am a traditionalist with many black-framed prints on my walls.

I really think the dots add to the overall effect and increase the charm of the works.
