I just got home from seeing the Dyker Heights (Brooklyn) Christmas lights.
Took a day trip to New Orleans while down picking up The Boy from Bama.
Love love love that city especially decked out for the holidays.
I just sent an article about that neighborhood to my Mom. She grew up not too far from there. My grandpa would take her to ride her bike there.

Trust me when I tell you that there were PLENTY of lights!
The girls and I made friendship bracelets this morning with the beads and accessories I put in their stockings. We had a great time although one was so much of a perfectionist that the other two made two or three bracelets for her before she finished one, because we were concerned she’d give up! She persevered though!
We spent the last 2 days with this sweet, energetic, lovable GSD pup. She’s 11 weeks now, has huge paws, and gained 5 lbs in the last 10 days. We won’t see her again until late March.
A New Year’s hike to the summit of Cannon Mtn in NH. It snowed during the whole hike. No view at the top because of that but truly a magical winter wonderland.
I just downloaded my camera pictures from the Rose Parade FloatFest, not to mention the phone pictures so lots of selecting and editing! Here’s a few unedited to start.
Very creative use of Brussels sprouts.
That’s what I thought! The BrusselSproutagator.
I loved the float with the cats and the Brussel sprout alligator when we watched the parade. Here are some of my favorite floats from the last time H and I went to see the floats after the parade (2016).
Wow those are some fancy floats!
We went to the parade and float viewing in January 2013. That’s why I said, sure, I’ll go to the game, but only if we go to FloatFest the next day.
Overall, I think the 2013 floats (as seen below) were a tad better than 2024. Both stellar.
I went in 2013 as well. The floats were great!
