Wow—our azeleas bloom year round but nothing like yours!
Not exactly a photo, but I am on the PATH train, all by myself. I hope to dance the night away with other listeners to my all-time favorite radio station, my coping skill to wash away the news of the day.

Our azaleas are always slow to bloom since they don’t get much sun on this side of the house. But I love when they bloom.
We had a neat experience yesterday. We were sitting on our porch when a woman walked up. Her family owned the house from the 60s-80s. We are the 6th owners in its 114 year old history. We let her tour it and she was so excited. I loved hearing the stories of its history.

Well, we did need the slickers! It rained through most of Billy Joel. Between that and the foul ball net in our way, photos weren’t optimum. Video came out better! Although the rain dampened our experience, it did not extinguish the enthusiasm.

Glad you’re adjusting to flooding. I was shocked at how rapidly and high the water level rise, in just a regular heavy rain! It covered the streets and fire hydrants and we had to stand on a bench to avoid being totally drenched.
New Orleans is such an interesting city!
