I am looking forward to hearing about the wedding - and if anyone had white in their dress!
I mentioned in another thread about having to find a dress for an upcoming wedding on Martha’s Vineyard. Well, this is the weekend! We arrived yesterday afternoon. It’s so beautiful. It was 95 in Boston and 75 here.
It’s probably the swankiest wedding I will ever attend.
Last night we had a boat ride with sandwiches, wine, beer, and soft drinks provided. This morning we will go for yoga on the beach. Tonight we have a dinner at the groom’s parents’ house. Tomorrow the wedding is at 2 and the reception on a farm is from 3 until 11! Sunday morning there is a brunch.
We definitely feel out of our league, but I know the rest of my husband’s side of the family feels the same. Our niece is marrying into quite the family! They are very nice people, so gracious.
I love vacation photos – they let me live vicariously
Koloa Landing?
We’ve been working on our cabin’s lower level off and on the past two summers. We had finished everything but the staircase and dry bar which DH has been working on non-stop the past two weeks in advance of my mother’s visit. He still has some trim work to do, but he can finish up after she leaves. Here are the before and after pics:
Great blending of the wood choices. Woody but fresh. Your H is talented! How do you see you both using the space?? Maybe nice and cool down there on hot summer days!
Beautiful!
The lower-level is our guest suite; it also has a bed, bath, and sitting area to give our visitors their own private apartment.
And, with three mini-splits, the cabin has the equivalent of central air/heat, so we are comfortable all summer up and down. Have I mentioned how I love not camping?
Let’s give him half the credit…
This is quite an oasis for your guests.
Love how comfy, clean, and private it all is.
Beautifully designed and completed.
Yep! Great choice for the toddler!
Space X launch from Vanderberg as seen from the alley next to our house. Batch of satellites going up for Starlink.
Wow… those are incredible photos @Marilyn ! Thanks for sharing.
