OMG, you guys are killing me!! :christmas_tree:

The previous owners used to hang an enormous flag on the front of the house for July 4th and were written up in a newspaper.

We do have a wiki page (we did not create). The house is across the street from an encampment the troops used in the Rev War, and supposedly Washington and Rochambeau enjoyed some pints here. We hosted lunch for some of Rochambeau’s family about 15 years ago when they came to the states.

We also have a hole in one of the bedroom ceilings that a historian has confirmed is from a bayonet. Angry soldiers maybe? A psychic that came to the house said we had a soldier in our basement. My daughter’s friend when she was 6 told us there was a uniformed man in the bathroom doorway when she got up in the middle of the night during a sleepover. And my daughter’s boyfriend has seen a woman in our dining room and basement. The latter two sightings are recent. Surprisingly neither were frightened. No one’s shown themselves to our immediate family, though some very odd things happened during the first few years we lived here.

23 years ago, when my son was 2, he saw a man in our basement.

I was with him. My son asked who was speaking and I answered “the radio” just to give him an answer, even though I knew it wasn’t the radio.

A few hours later, on reflection, I asked him, “when you asked who was speaking, what did you hear?” And my son said there was a man in the corner, speaking to him. I asked what the man said, and my son replied “Hello, little boy!”.

My son never talked about ghosts or seeing/hearing things before or since, and I believe him.

On the other hand, I’ve never seen a ghost, probably because they know that would terrify me

As long as he didn’t refer to the voice as Captain Howdy…

When we first moved into our home our D was 11. She and I were sitting in the living room reading and both looked up at the exact moment. Both of us moved our heads in slow motion from the coat closet to the picture window. Very slowly. She softly asked “did you see her?” I had. It was definitely a female form. Walked right past us in the room. We never saw her again.

It wasn’t my first time seeing an entity. I have to admit, I have had more than my share of experiences. Some wilder than others. I’ve never been afraid of them. When my mom was alive she would often say she thought I was psychic. I say I’m abundantly aware because I live in awareness. I tend to catch the little things while others focus on the big picture.

Daughter came home to find this in her driveway. Her young children loved touching the shell.

Wow - where does she live?

My daughter read my mind a couple of times when she was three or so. Once she was lying in bed with me cosleeping, but neither of us was asleep yet. I was thinking about a neighbor who gave her sons and husband horrible haircuts. Then my daughter says “Mommy, please don’t cut my hair.” It was crazy.

When we moved into our home we were gifted a series of very old photos of prior owners. In this one the gentleman is standing over an old water well that was capped by a stone.

Shortly after moving in we had the well filled for safety reasons. We have frequently seen shadows or visions of this individual in that exact spot since we sealed the well.

Oddly no one has ever felt threatened or scared but I have been “creeped” out by my dog sometimes turning around abruptly to face that area when I don’t see anything.

Sedona?

Yes, it is Sedona. A portion of the town is in the background of the 2nd picture. If you are familiar with the area, you can walk to both pictures from the Huckaby trailhead off Schnebly Hill road, ~1 mile east of town.

I’m hoping my latest TJ amaryllis will inspire my 18 month old plants. I grew them from seeds from previous years TJ waxed bulbs.
