From the Smithsonian African American Museum visit yesterday. I liked it, but I bet I walked by at least 75% of the information and we were there for 3 hours! It felt disrespectful to skip it, but we couldn’t stay all day. The fourth picture is Oprah’s couch. I used to watch her all the time in high school and college.
And a funny note - FDIL2 noticed - a very prominent sports memorabilia item was gifted by “H’s name!” We were like “that was so nice of you dear, but think of what we could have done with that $$$ if you had sold it!”
My scenic rocks. I love finding landscapes in rocks. I swear, one I’m working on now looks like a Monet painting. Btw, I found the first and last one in the landscaping rock at a hotel in MO. lol. It’s a form of flint. Also found petrified wood and a couple of agates. My husband was like, ummm, we need to unload the car and the dogs…
Tvindefossen waterfall in Norway, about 500 feet high.
I’m not a big camper but there’s a small campground in front of this waterfall and I’d happily sleep in a tent in order to spend the nite with this 100 yards away! There were also car-campers there and they have a few cabins.
