<p>A more interesting question is what are the best “chick flicks” for men? (My son has gotten a fair bit of mileage with the ladies out of the fact that he can have an intelligent discussion about Pretty In Pink vs. Sixteen Candles.) Good call on Wedding Crashers, cheers.</p>

<p>Sorry folks, but I have to turn in my man card for the weekend. I have to leave in a few minutes to take our dog to the vet to get - um - tutored. No guy should have to do this to another guy, even if one of them isn’t human.</p>

<p>As an aside, I was “picked up” at Costco last weekend. What a shot in the ego! The first thing I did (after politely declining offers to go for coffee and/or drinks, at 10 in the morning no less) was to call my h!</p>
<p>Oh-- forgot to mention-- when we were out with some other friends watching UF beat Butler on their way to the final 4 ( 
) the other guy with us made a reference to getting a “kitchen pass” to go out. When his fiancee heard him use that term, she almost popped a cork. Am I wrong not to be bothered by such an expression? To me, its a colloquialism for common courtesy, that a <em>few</em> guys still have. He goes out with “the guys” (poker, ball games, hockey etc) and will usually ask if we have plans before confirming (aka asking for his kitchen pass). So when he wants to go off to his he-man woman-haters club meetings, he usually gets his kitchen pass.</p>
<p>Okay, guys, I get the feeling you don’t think In & Out and The Bird Cage are manly movies. tsk, tsk (I loved the original Bird Cage too, ek4. It really was the better of the two, by a hair.) </p>

As Good as it Gets (I know that’s pushing it, but Jack Nicholson is a hoot) </p>
<p>I could go on and on. I was a huge tom boy growing up and a daddy’s girl too, so I watched tons of westerns with my dad. I’m the only XX in a house of XY’s, and coincidentally ;), I married a man very similar to my dad, so I’m still watching the same great westerns. The good ones truly never go out of style, kind of like a retrosexual, except for Marite’s, lol.</p>

<p>OMG, I adore IN & Out, it is the cutest movie. I cannot believe how many people have not seen it! I used the line Joan Cusack says, after trying to pick up Tom Selleck in the bar to describe my Ds tour of 3 schools sports teams she was considering…but NO ONE had seen the movie!!</p>
